For the past two weeks, this number has been ringing me every single day. I've picked up about three times, but all I get is silence for a bit and then a quick "goodbye." It's getting really annoying now, and I'm desperate to figure out how to block these calls.

This number keeps ringing me up pretty much every week, maybe once or twice. I've tried picking up a few times but no one ever talks. A couple of mates reckon it might be some sort of scam, so if you get a call from it, best to just not pick up.

Couple of minutes ago, I got a call from this number but didn’t pick up cos the +91 code is from India and I’m not expecting any calls from there. Tried ringing back but it said the number isn’t valid or something like that. So I searched it on Google and found loads of comments from others about the same number doing similar stuff.

I got a call from this number as well. There was an automated message saying that people from my country could apply for a green card. It gave two choices: press 1 to talk to someone about the application, or press 2 to hang up. I pressed 1 and a woman came on the line, but I didn’t stay on to hear what she said and just ended the call. What’s the deal with this number? Feels like they might be fishing for our details to scam us or something.

Just a little while ago, I got a call on Viber from an unknown number. I picked up and all I heard was a woman saying “Hi” before the call dropped. When I tried ringing back, Viber told me that this number isn’t registered with their service and suggested I invite the person to join Viber. Curious, I googled the number and landed on this site. Looking at similar reports, I’m worried this might be like that other number (00201...........) where if you answer, you risk being hacked by a group from Africa (Somalians), who can steal your photos and data from your phone and then blackmail you. I’m not sure how they manage to send calls that could compromise your info - maybe through details saved from Facebook or cookies on the phone? Either way, I’ve been warned to avoid picking up calls from suspicious numbers like these.

I got a call from this number the other day, it was one of those automated voices telling me my country qualifies for US immigration visas. They said if I wanted more info, to press 1. So I did, but then it just started ringing and no one answered, so I ended up hanging up. I'm pretty sure if I’d stayed on the line I might’ve gotten charged some crazy fees. What’s odd though is I don’t recall ever giving out my phone number for anything like that.
