When I made the call, they asked me to give them access to my computer in order to provide a refund. Of course, I immediately ended the call. Fortunately, the charge never appeared on my credit card statement.

It's quite ironic that the scammer used the phone number for the fraud reporting line in Canada to deceive people. They pretended to be from the CRA and threatened that if I didn't pay my 'fine', I would end up in jail.

When I confronted them about their scam, they became furious and have since left multiple offensive voicemails.

I received a phone call from individuals who claimed to be employees of Google. They threatened that if I didn't comply, my business would be taken off Google. Recognizing it as a scam, I decided to play along and asked them the location of their business. They tried to avoid giving me an answer, but I insisted on knowing it in order to continue our conversation. Frustrated, they abruptly terminated the call.

I got a phone call from this particular number. They asked me if I was ______ (my name). To which I replied affirmatively, and then suddenly, the line became occupied. Afterwards, I attempted to call back the same number, but unfortunately encountered a busy signal once again. Subsequently, I notified the police about this occurrence, and they suggested that I should also report it to antifraudcentre.ca, which I am currently in the process of doing so.
