Got a call from 844-802-2163 and it was one of those automated messages. It claimed my doctor's name recommended Banner Imaging and told me to ring 1833-813-0071 to book a visit. But looking up that 1833 number, loads of people say it’s dodgy and linked to scams.

I ended the call straight away, but when I looked up the number, it turns out it’s linked to the Southwest Kidney Institute. Apparently, a Dr Himabindu Chaparala works there, and they have three different branches.

Got a weird text from a number saying my doc HIMABINDU CHAPARALA wants me to book an appointment at Banner Imaging. It had a link to call +1833-813-0071 directly from my phone. They also said I could text STOP if I didn't want any more messages. Bit odd but maybe legit?
