I keep receiving incessant phone calls, sometimes more than once a day! My answering machine only captures snippets of their messages, which seem to revolve around some profit-boosting scheme. They mention pressing 1 to have a chat with my ‘VIP host’ and that my exclusive VIP package is ready and waiting. There’s also an option to press 8 if I wish to be taken off their list, but despite trying that when I’ve actually picked up the phone, the calls persist. Curiosity got the better of me, so I rang the number back and it turned out to be a casino. The chap on the other end spoke so fast I could barely grasp what he was saying, but I caught a name that sounded like "Green Casino" or something similar. I informed him that these daily disturbances were quite bothersome, and he kindly offered his apologies, promising to have my number removed from their system. He did mention it could take up to three business days to take effect. We shall see what transpires!

This number has been ringing my doorbell two nights in a row past half eleven. They left a message in quite poor English, urging me to press a number to keep the conversation going. Quite odd, really!
