8 yearsHonestly, their business tactics seem really dodgy to me. The whole process is super quick - you get a message on your computer and before you know it, things are moving fast. What really set off alarms was that they accept post-dated cheques. I tried looking up their company on Google but couldn’t find anything at first. Now, I see their name’s there but they only started up around April 2018. Just seems like a really odd way to run things, if you ask me.8 yearsBack in Sept, my laptop froze up, and a message popped up telling me to ring Microsoft on 18775686573, so I did. They told me hackers had got into my system and my network was at risk. They said they were Microsoft staff and could fix some issues, but the network problem needed a different company and would cost me. I really felt trapped. They connected me to some outfit named Pricekutters Websolutions. They took $300US off me to "sort it out". Looking back, I was daft to hand over my bank details. Took me about 10 minutes before I saw it was dodgy. I emptied my account and shut it down quick smart. When I called them back to say it was a scam and I wasn’t paying, they threatened to report me to the credit agencies. I wasn't bothered. They rang a few times after but I just ignored them. Ended up having to change all passwords and account info. Don't get caught out by this.
