I got a text from what seems like my dental surgery (Oak Dental Care), although I guess other clinics might use this number too. The message was just a simple reminder to call and arrange my usual check-up. I ended up waiting on hold for about 6 minutes and then hung up out of frustration. Later, I noticed they charged me £4.50 for that hold time, which works out to about 70p a minute.

I got a message asking me to ring up for an appointment. When I called, had to wait in a queue that seemed quite strict about the order. The whole call lasted about 1 minute and 17 seconds and ended up costing me £1.69. Not really worth it, if you ask me.
