Today, I received a call from someone purporting to be from the Harris County Processing Department, warning me that I would be served papers by Tuesday and insisted I ring them on 866-288-6515, citing case number 732554. I decided to consult with a lawyer, and they informed me that the debt is well beyond the statute of limitations and thus unenforceable.

I received a call from a mysterious number today, and the gentleman on the other end identified himself as Charles Graham, claiming to be with the Jackson County serving office. He mentioned he’d be stopping by either my home or workplace this afternoon, between 4 and 6 o'clock, asking for a legitimate form of identification. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!
