Had the exact same experience, they repeated the same lines word for word. Definitely a scam.

I had a similar call to what anonymous described. When I rang the number they left, I told the automated message the “claim number” it asked for and mentioned it seemed dodgy, then said they could track down who it actually was.

I got a phone call from someone named Angelina Thomas, but she never said which company she was calling from. The caller ID just showed as private. She claimed to have some documents with my name and social security number on them, saying I’m scheduled to receive an official notice about a pending claim. She gave me a number to ring to sort it out, which I’m sharing here. She also mentioned that she might show up at my house or workplace. Didn’t provide any other details at all.
