Got a call from this number two times, with the same scary threat each time. These scammers must be bored out of their minds or something. Funny thing is, they ended it by saying "have a nice day" like nothing!

Got a call from this number last Saturday and then they rang me again this morning. Both times, it was the same automated message they played, just like what’s mentioned up there.

Don't trust this number, it's a scam for sure. They are NOT from the Canada Revenue Agency, so never hand over your personal info to them.

Got a voicemail about some tax fraud supposedly linked to me or my lawyer, saying I have to take responsibility and all that rubbish. Obviously, it’s a scam trying to grab my personal details. Definitely not from the HMRC. I just blocked the number straight away. Proper shame people try this kind of thing 😔

I got a call from this number too, and they were threatening me saying the CRA would arrest me. I just told them to send someone over. They kept saying an officer would be at my place within two hours. The first caller said I owed £3586, then another one said it was only £586. Both had an accent like they were from East India. In the end, I just hung up and waited to see what would happen.

My sister got a call from this number saying she needed to pay $3,500 immediately at some spot close to Rexall pharmacy. They warned her that if she didn’t pay up quick, they’d show up and demand even more. Watch out, this sounds like a scam! - Amy

These people pretend to be from the CRA, Canada Revenue Agency, saying I owe them money. First call said $4587.45, then the amount switched to $4286.95. Both callers spoke with heavy East Indian accents. They tried to scare me by talking about arrest warrants, but I just told them to go ahead and send it. They even asked for my credit card info to pay immediately, which isn’t how the Revenue Canada operates at all. I phoned back and told them I’d sue, and that’s when they hung up on me.
