I recently received a computerized voice call informing me that I am being sued and advising me to urgently call them back. I chose not to answer the call initially, but later decided to ring the number back. Unfortunately, I received a message stating that all circuits were busy. I am convinced that this is a scam, as my number has been unlisted for the past three years and I've rarely received telemarketing calls until recently. Kind regards, [Your Name]

WARNING: SCAM ALERT - BE AWARE, THEY NOW REQUEST YOUR NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER. IF YOU PROVIDE THEM WITH A FALSE ONE, THEY WILL CLAIM IT IS INVALID AND END THE CONVERSATION IMMEDIATELY. THEIR AIM IS TO APPEAR AS AUTHENTIC AS THE GENUINE TAX AUTHORITIES.

IF YOU REFUSE TO COOPERATE, THEY WILL HANG UP. I DECIDED TO CALL THEM BACK AND CONFRONT THEM ABOUT BEING SCAM ARTISTS. THE GUY ON THE OTHER END (WITH AN EAST INDIAN ACCENT) RESPONDED WITH INSULTS, STATING THAT I APPARENTLY ENJOYED LISTENING TO HIS VOICE AND USING PROFANE LANGUAGE.

HE ACTUALLY CONFESSED TO ENGAGING IN SCAMS.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PROVIDE YOUR NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER. BE AWARE THAT LEGITIMATE TAX AUTHORITIES DO NOT CONTACT YOU IN THIS MANNER.

I contacted them today, only to be met with familiar incompetence. The individual became angry when I requested to speak with someone fluent in English. He identified himself as Roy Parker, although his East Indian accent was quite noticeable. In response, I provided him with my lawyer's contact details, signaling the end of the call.

I have been contacted by a rather persistent individual with a strong Indian accent who goes by the name of Ben Moon. Over the past week, they have tried to reach me on a total of five occasions. However, I found their attempts quite amusing when they boldly requested my credit card details. In response, I decided to play along for a bit before laughing directly at them, causing them to abruptly end the call.

Beware of the same automated caller operating under the phone number 844-434-0127. This is a recurring scam with identical message content. Exercise caution!

I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for sharing this information. Today, I also received a similar message (they left me 4 messages). Apparently, someone from the Revenue Agency called me regarding allegations of tax evasion and fraud, stating that I have been named in a lawsuit. They insisted that either my lawyer or myself should contact them immediately. However, it is important to remember never to provide your personal information over the phone without proper verification. Concerned about the legitimacy of the call, I asked for their local phone number and address. Surprisingly, the address they provided was incorrect. Moreover, I requested their website address for further confirmation, but before I could get an answer, they abruptly ended the call. Curious about these suspicious calls, I made four more attempts to reach out to them only to discover that all the individuals I spoke with had a similar accent resembling that of Indian origin.

It is imperative that we track down and apprehend these individuals to put an end to their operations.

Beware of an overseas scam - I called them multiple times, and they all had the same accent. While preparing breakfast, I managed to waste about 20 minutes of their time. Their scheme involves claiming that you're owing $2000-$4000 in taxes (random figures each time you call), even when you've been diligent in your payments. They don't appreciate it when you retort by expressing your wish that someone steals from their mother or telling them they are no better than an armed thief. As soon as I made my seventh call, they stopped answering, so there's no point in persistently redialing after that. In case they threaten that the "RCMP" (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) will come to arrest you, check the officer's badge and calmly explain that Ron informed you it's a scam, then offer them a cup of coffee. It should all sort out fine in the end.

Beware, as this is a fraudulent scheme. Be cautious.

Just like everyone else, we are also experiencing the same issue. In addition, we reside in Quebec and the message we received was written in English. Let's not be deceived, folks. If there were indeed any fraudulent activities taking place, we would receive a formal letter of notification or the police would be involved.

I have received the same call three or four times, including twice today alone. It was the same speech every time. I tried calling back once and got a busy line. They left a message on my voicemail, but it was in English only. Please refrain from giving any information!

I recently received a voicemail from someone alleging tax evasion and tax fraud, insisting that I call them or have my lawyer contact them. The caller threatened to take me to court if I didn't respond. Afterwards, they courteously ended the message by thanking me and wishing me a pleasant day. Interestingly, I completed my tax return just last month and even received a refund. This appears to be a fraudulent scheme!

I recently received a phone message, which was quite similar to previous ones I had received. The message claimed that I was involved in tax evasion and tax fraud, and urged me or my lawyer to call back. However, I decided not to return the call. In the past, I have received similar messages from different phone numbers. When I did make the mistake of calling back once, they mentioned that they could settle my supposed problems for $6,000. Knowing it was a scam, I challenged them to provide my SIN # (Social Insurance Number). Of course, they couldn't provide this information, and regardless, I wouldn't have sent any money even if they had. Finally, I reported the incident to the RCMP, and they are already aware of these fraudulent activities. It's disheartening to witness these individuals preying on unsuspecting people who may not be aware of such scams.
