This number is definitely linked to online cheats. When I got a call, they acted like they were from the Canadian Revenue, but I’ve come across other places online where folks say this same number was used by people claiming to be from Yahoo or Microsoft. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.

I got in touch with the Canadian anti-fraud centre, and turns out it's totally a scam! Don’t stress, no cops are going to show up and there won’t be any legal action. It’s all just a scare tactic to trick you into handing over your personal details. Just ignore it, that’s really all you need to do.
CONFIRMED SCAM, JUST DISREGARD IT, nothing's going to happen. The Canadian service told me no police will come and you don’t owe any money - it’s purely a con.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Revenue Canada saying I had a big tax debt. They even dropped a phone number to call back: 1-888-764-0137. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
