We received a call from someone identifying himself as Adam Goldstien, and he had quite the American twang. It seemed he was clued into the fact that we hold shares in a specific company. He mentioned he’d be giving us a ring again in about a month, apparently trying to persuade us to cough up £2000 to invest in some firms. Honestly, we’re not convinced at all!

Last week, I had a chap from RDS give me a bell. He was after Robert Black - sounded like he was straight out of Scotland! He seemed quite keen on some shares we've got. But I reckon Robert might be in for a bit of a fantasy there!

Is there something amiss with this company? We genuinely prefer to be frequently contacted by any company we collaborate with. Everything I’ve asked them to assist with has been executed flawlessly. In just six weeks, I’ve managed to earn £2,000! We think that's absolutely brilliant. Hopefully, they can maintain this momentum moving forward!

It seems that a chap named George Smith, who shared his telephone number with us, reached out regarding some shares we hold. Initially, we presumed he was contacting us on behalf of the company where we have investments. However, during the conversation, he mentioned he was representing 'RDS Commodities', a firm that, quite frankly, appears to be a bit of a mystery when you try to look it up online. He’s promised to give us a bell next month about an investment opportunity that he claims has a 'low entry level'. Honestly, we’re contemplating getting in touch with Trading Standards about this.

Our dear Granny received a call from a chap named Mike Taylor about a month back, and once more just the other day. Apparently, she was led to believe she was sharing information regarding a fantastic opportunity. From what we’ve pieced together, she’s been told he could potentially pocket up to £2,000! It’s a sad reality that yet another older person has fallen victim to such deceitful tactics. Fortunately, so far, she hasn’t parted with any cash!

I invested in carbon credits with this company some time back, and I must say, they have been absolutely fantastic. I've made a profit of £600! So I can’t quite grasp what the issue might be.

These individuals have swindled our poor, elderly mother out of a significant sum of money. I strongly advise steering well clear of them. The Financial Services Authority is currently conducting an intense investigation into this company and all the vile tricksters making cold calls on their behalf. Their days are certainly numbered. . . . . . . . ABSOLUTE ROGUES!

We’ve encountered a similar situation with a chap named Calvin Richards, who’s been hounding us to let go of some shares in exchange for various investments. When we pressed him about how he stumbled across our contact details and share information, he stumbled over his words and couldn’t provide any answers. Then, the moment we mentioned we discovered that his company isn’t registered for this type of trading (which I checked out online), he abruptly ended the call. Best of luck to those who are raking in profits, but these individuals certainly won’t be getting anything from me. Stay vigilant to avoid being conned. I plan to reach out to trading standards without delay.

Today, we received a call from someone who goes by the name of Mike Taylor. He seemed keen on discussing some shares with us. Quite the unexpected ring, I must say!

We’re constantly getting calls from these individuals who seem to be aware of our investments, trying to persuade us to put our money into carbon credits. Their line is always something like, “Oh, you don’t need any cash on hand right now, but you can earn so much back with us.” We’ve told them firmly that they’re simply wasting their breath, yet they just keep rambling on. When we end the call, they ring us back! We've made it clear that we don't have any funds, and then they suggest we can use our shares as some sort of credit. Is there any way we can block these persistent callers?

Best to avoid these dodgy characters, if you ask us, and that's the sentiment echoed by both the FSA and the scam unit of the London Metropolitan Police. We had an unfortunate encounter when they tried to dupe our mother-in-law. They put on a friendly front and can seem quite charming, yet their true colours shine through once they don’t get their way. Thankfully, someone else handled the situation on his behalf, as I can only imagine how tempting it must be for many to just hand over their cash to escape the pressure. This was clearly nothing more than a classic scam, so it’s wise to either hang up promptly or simply ignore their calls altogether.
