They rang my workplace just like this, threatening me with court papers arriving. How did you handle it?

I got a call saying my hubby supposedly owes some sort of debt, but the person wouldn't say which company they're calling from. They claimed to be a law firm or something, but I’m not convinced. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Some random number rang me and left a voicemail. This bloke said he was Officer Davis and accused me of 2 fraud charges. He told me or my lawyer to get in touch on 844-324-3181. He even threw in a docket number for proof. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was Officer Ted Johnson, saying he needed to speak with my daughter urgently. He gave me a phone number with an extension, telling her to call back today or else legal papers would be served. He even mentioned a case number. The weird thing is, he rang both my mobile and landline three times straight this morning, 30th May 2017. Feels like a total scam trying to scare us into paying up.

Someone called claiming to be from the government, saying there were two fraud charges filed against me. They had my name, my birthday, and even an old address of mine.

Got a call showing +10000000000 on the ID, but it was just a prerecorded message dropped in my voicemail. It said someone would be coming to my job to serve me documents about two cases that are apparently pending against me. They gave a number to ring back and actually asked for me by name. Bit worrying, to be honest.
