Got a call from this number, left a voicemail mentioning some reg wooha or something. I rang back and some guy, really rude, kept saying I owed money for a debt I already paid off like two months back. It all seemed fishy as hell. For yonks now, I've been getting texts claiming to be from the Canada Revenue Agency, but they're always directed at my mum. I've double-checked, and there's absolutely no debt owed to the government. Yet, they ring all times of the day, and just today I got a call which connected me to someone live, asking for her again. Sounds like a total scam to me, and a right pain too. Government debts are never sorted out by texts or phone calls. Usually, official letters are the norm from any official organisation. Don’t give these lot any of your details!

Got four calls so far today, but only managed to speak to someone live twice. Told them there’s no Chad at this number. They asked how long I’d had it, I said more than 30 years. These jokers kept pressuring me to admit to a debt I don't even owe. The dodgy woman ringing me insisted that refusing to give my social insurance number was basically me confessing. This number left me a bunch of voicemails, apparently trying to reach someone else about some file number. I rang them back and told them they had the wrong person, even gave my name. They said they'd fix their records, but the calls keep coming. It’s starting to feel like harassment now. I reckon it might be a debt collection firm, but I’ve made it clear I’m not the debtor. Still, no end to the calls.

They claim to be from TD. Once, they ring up saying they've got a special deal for you. Another time, they call saying they're handling some sort of issue with you and give you a case ID, but never explain what the problem actually is. When you try to call back, they don’t say which department you’ve reached.
