So I picked up the phone, and some young woman claimed to be from Rogers in Iowa, asking to talk to me. Got a load of calls from this number, all about some Rogers pay-as-you-go promo. Turns out it’s from a call centre hired by Rogers. I’d say pick up once, just to hear the message in both English and French. There’s an option there to take your number off their call list. You can do it from a landline too - just follow the instructions, type in your mobile, and it could take up to a couple of weeks to get removed. Seems like they’re some outsourced outfit running the calls for Rogers.
