Had a rather dubious call from a chap named Mike Sams-at least that’s what he claimed-ringing me from the number 844-592-1855. He insisted that I was in arrears on an online payday loan, yet when pressed for details about the company and when this alleged loan was taken out, he was utterly stumped. Not wanting to be taken for a ride, I reached out to the county clerk to check if there were any records of cases lodged against me, which they should have. Following that, I contacted the FBI, as these fraudsters truly need to be put in their place.

I received a call asserting that I had an outstanding payday loan, which is absolutely baffling as I’ve never taken one out in my life. The people on the other end were incredibly discourteous and pressed me for a settlement payment. It’s quite unnerving how they obtained this sort of information; it genuinely rattled me. I cannot stand these fraudsters - they should really find themselves legitimate work instead of harassing innocent folks!
