Got a call from someone saying they were Nora Bates, talking about legal papers waiting to be picked up... they kept saying I had to reply before the end of the workday or things would move forward without me. If someone won’t clearly say who they represent or who they're after, that's a big red flag. Never hand over any of your personal data on a call. Just tell them to mail whatever they need to the address they've got listed, but don’t confirm if it’s correct or not.

I noticed this number in my missed calls with a voicemail saying they had to serve me. When I called back, they immediately asked for my personal details. I refused to give anything until they told me who was suing me. That quickly turned into a heated debate about my rights, and the man on the other end just hung up. Before he ended the call, I warned him I’d be reporting their company as a scam.

I received a call from someone called Nora Bates about a supposed “legal document.” When I rang back, I ended up talking to a Robert Wilkins. He kept pressing me, saying my number was registered as a backup contact for someone who apparently had some legal trouble going on. I told him straight to take my number off their list, but he just told me to get my lawyer to reach out to sort it out and find out what it was all about. Since he wouldn’t actually say what legal issue it was, it really seemed like a scam to me!

Got a robo call from someone saying she was Marissa Smith about some documents being on hold. She warned me there’d be legal trouble if I didn’t ring the number they gave before the end of that day. Funny thing is, the number she wanted me to call wasn’t the same one she called from. I just didn’t bother replying.
