I got a pop-up with a number to call. When I rang it, they put me on hold straight away. After a bit, a bloke answered, asked what my name was, then just ended the call.

I was just about to use my TDownloader app to play some tunes when suddenly it stopped me from doing anything at all. Pretty sure it's one of those scams. Honestly, best to steer clear of it!

My safari browser just froze and wouldnt open. It showed some message about an "isosecurityalert" and then mentioned "iso crashreport." It also told me to ring 18004804170 but I have no clue what that is about. Really confused!

This number 18004804170 needs to be looked into by the proper authorities, maybe even the cops. They say it’s a legit business but I got software from them that blocked my internet and then a message popped up saying my IOS had crashed. It’s definitely a scam, watch out and don’t share your credit card info with them. Better to just call the Apple support team who can tell you how to close that fake warning safely. Just wanted to warn everyone, thanks for reading! Cheers from Ali in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada.

I got this message on my iPad and it's stuck there, won't go away even after I switched the thing off and on again.

I received this weird popup on my phone warning about an iOS crash and saying some third party had got into my iPhone. It ended with a number to call - 1-800-480-4170, toll free. I rang the number but no one actually said their name. Instead, the automated voice told me to hold on. I waited for like eight minutes before I just gave up and hung up. If my phone bill suddenly shows any suspicious charges, I’ll let you know. Fingers crossed I don’t have to bother you all again! Cheers.

I saw this appear on my iPhone, but once I cleared my browsing history, it seemed to disappear and everything was fine afterwards.

Avoid calling this number at all costs, they’ll try to get your credit card details and then charge you random amounts like £50, £60, or even £80 for no reason. They’re definitely not from Apple, they’re just scammers. If your iPad is blocked, just swipe from the corner and hit the X to close it - it’s really straightforward. I went to the Apple Store and they said there’s nothing wrong with my iPad. Just tap to dismiss, it’s a total scam, so be careful!
