Got a call from someone claiming to be ScotiaBank, but it was just a nonstop message saying "A representative will be with you shortly." Honestly, that’s a big red flag. Best thing to do? Hang up straight away and make sure you block the number so they can’t bother you again!

Got a call from a bloke with an accent claiming to be from Scotia Bank, asking for someone who supposedly lives here. When I asked straight away what it was regarding, he just cut off the call. Haha, I dont even use Scotia Bank and never said if I was the person he wanted!

Really hard to make out what the guy was saying, kept trying to listen but the line was all crackly. Every time I called back, some bloke would pick up. Definitely felt suspicious, especially since they said they were from Scotia Bank.

Got a call from this number just now, and the bloke on the other end sounded like he had something stuck in his mouth, talking with an Indian accent. He mentioned something about being from a bank or so it seemed. When I asked him to say it again he just cut the call. Very fishy!
