Just got a dodgy text claiming to be from the Post Office about some credit card offer... it says "Check if you qualify for a Post Office Credit Card... To stop, Txt POLSTOP..." It's a premium service number, so replying will charge you and probably lead to more unwanted messages. Best to just report as junk and block it.

This number belongs to Lending Stream, a loan provider. If youve got an existing loan with them, then its all good. But if you get a message saying youve been approved for a loan or have to pay them and youre not expecting it, you should get in touch right away. Ive heard some folks say these companies are terrible, but honestly their customer service is really good.

i'm on pay as you go and got a text off this number 64546 on the 19th of March. today i got another one saying something like "FreMsg: Reminder, you’re signed up to Best HTML5 Games costing £4.50 per week from best Games Downloads. Txt STOP to 64546 or HELP? 08004049162." i nearly sent STOP but i have no credit left, just free texts, so it wouldn’t go through. feels like they’re trying to make you pay for a message you can’t even send. really makes you wonder if they have access to other personal info. anyone else had deals with this type of scam? definitely feels dodgy.

Got a message from 64546 claiming: FreeMsg:Reminder. You’re signed up to Mobidol at £4.50 a week unless you text STOP to 64546. Never signed up to anything like this. Feels like one of those dodgy spam texts. I just flagged the number as spam on my phone, deleted the message and ignored it completely. It’s typical scam stuff, trying to scare you then acting like they’re helping by asking you to text back STOP. Don’t fall for it, just don’t reply.
