I tried replying 'stop' to the messages claiming to be from British Gas, even though I don’t actually have an account with them. I haven’t been able to figure out if these texts are a scam or if they’ve just got the wrong phone number. Either way, the messages just keep coming and haven’t stopped at all.

someone just rung me up saying they were from British Gas, sounded a bit dodgy to me. didn’t really buy their story. be careful with calls like this, might be a scam.
