Got a dodgy text claiming it was about winter fuel payment, link looked like it was from the government but it wasn’t - it was something like a tinyurl. They wanted you to give them your name, address, phone number AND bank card details! That’s pretty suspicious. To send money into someone’s bank, all they actually need is the sort code, account number and name, they don’t ask for your card number so it’s a total scam. Watch out for stuff like this!

Got a call from these guys, seemed kinda shady. When I looked up the number, turns out they're one of those annoying phone scammers. Wish people would just stop with these pointless calls!

I didn’t get any calls but I found out some random codes were apparently sent from my phone to the number 34664, which got me quite worried.

Got a random text from this number filled with a bunch of letters and digits. Just ignore and delete it!

Today, on the 22nd of September 2023, I received a weird text saying something like DCB_ASSOCIATION:ZCK61QSH6AIHDDINI2GDTIPGDL1LSETP1. It turns out a hacker had been using my bank card to pay for some kind of ****** service on Google Play. Thankfully, my bank spotted the dodgy activity pretty quick and flagged it as fraud. They ended up cancelling my card to prevent any more unauthorised charges. Quite a close call!

just got a new phone and while I was setting it up and downloading apps, I got this bizarre text full of random numbers and letters, looked like some kind of code or something. Very strange!

Was trying to buy some balens in Wartune's Hall of Heroes on my Samsung A5, but they never showed up. Afterwards, I got a few strange texts from the number 34664. Does this mean my account might’ve been compromised?

Got a message saying I just bought something on Google Play using my phone number for the charge, it says it’ll just go on my next mobile bill. Didn’t make any purchase tho, bit odd!
