I've been plagued by incessant scam calls, ringing my phone up to four times daily! Miraculously, on 31st December 2015, a woman finally picked up. It seems the scams are rearing their ugly heads just in time for New Year's Eve.

I've been receiving calls on both my landline and mobile from these individuals claiming they need my credit card details to settle a 'shipping fee.' It's rather suspect and I don't appreciate the intrusion.

Indeed, there's quite the familiar scam going around involving a $100 fuel voucher for merely a £3 postage cost. This woman is all too eager to collect your card details, whether it's credit or debit. She claims to represent both Visa and MasterCard, which is a massive warning sign in itself!

I've been bombarded with calls on a daily basis, with some days seeing up to three times ringing in. It's clearly dodgy behaviour... most of the time it's been a bloke, but the latest call had a woman on the line. On top of that, they seem to relish the sound of my answering machine, leaving me nothing but a cacophony of chatter in the background without so much as a message. It's incredibly frustrating and downright suspicious. What a right nuisance!

It appears to be a bit of a con, if you ask me. They’re touting it as some sort of prize draw where, for a nominal fee of £1.75, you supposedly secure a chance to win a £100 petrol voucher slated for a draw in July 2015. But, lo and behold, they require your credit card details to dispatch this 'prize'. I rang the number in question and spoke to a chap named Kaleb. Trust me, do not hand over your credit card info; this has all the hallmarks of a scam!
