I picked up without checking and saw it was a Nigerian number, so I ended the call straight away. Bit of a shame because I like to mess with them by telling some wild stories, like how I was in a car accident 35 years back and lost my head (they usually drop the line then). Anyway, blocked now. I received a call from the number 234-5567-891, which appears to be based in Ohio, but I find it curious that 234 is typically associated with Florida. What’s more perplexing is that it only displays nine digits, which is rather odd. Whenever I pick up the phone, it’s as if I’m met with silence on the other end. Got a call from some bloke from India around 9:50 at night. I’ve got a newborn and usually don’t get calls that late, only if it’s something urgent. He started going on about some computer company, but I didn’t even let him get a word out. I told him straight up to never ring this number again! Loud enough to wake the baby, and now here I am, 4 in the morning, and still totally awake. Thanks a lot, mate!

Somebody rang me up claiming my computer was being hacked and said they could fix it if I let them get on it. I kept saying no and asked how I could trust they weren’t the ones trying to hack me. After that, they just ended the call.
