I've seen on social media this discussion about a scam involving a number that sounds Somali, and this one looks like it might be the same sort of dodgy call. I'd say it's probably a scam as well.

Received a call from the number "234 567 890" which only rang twice. It didn’t have a full number or a leading digit. We decided not to pick up, but I'm curious-who could it have been?

Kept telling them to quit calling but it’s like shouting into the void, no difference at all!!!

This number has called us repeatedly-six times in total-during the hours of 10 PM to 11 PM. Strangely enough, they left no voicemail, and we didn’t answer either. Quite odd, really!
