I received a rather urgent call today from an 0203 number, where the caller insisted that I call back straight away and warned against disregarding the call. They identified themselves as HMRC and claimed it was regarding alleged tax evasion. To be honest, the whole thing felt like a pre-recorded message. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a recorded message regarding a tax issue. Honestly, I tend to zone out with these types of calls and hung up after catching just a few words. If there's anything urgent, I assume they'll get in touch via post. Now that I see it's from a firm in the States, I'm even more convinced I made the right choice in hanging up.
