They kept ringing me, leaving urgent messages like twice daily over three days until I finally called back. When I got through, the person asked me to confirm my name, date of birth, and address. After checking, he said the name and DOB matched theirs but the address didn’t, so they weren’t looking for me and ended the call. Now I’m second-guessing if it was a genuine call or some sort of scam and whether I just handed over personal info for nothing.
