On my statement, I noticed an entry for this particular number, 118918, which is described as service calls to Reading. I am at a loss as to what service this refers to because I have never made any calls to this number. Strangely enough, it appears on my statement twice, on 14th December 2020 and 16th December 2020. There is no name associated with this number either. I have been informed that it could be a directory inquiry number, but I must clarify that I have never utilized such a service.

I noticed two incoming calls on my mobile phone. The sound of the ringing caught my attention as it sat unattended on the table. I decided to ignore the first call and ended it. To my surprise, just a few seconds later, the phone began ringing again. When I checked the call log, it indicated that I had actually dialed the number, even though I had not been holding the phone at the time. Needless to say, I am quite upset about this situation.

I was charged £1.40 for a call to this number even though I didn't make it. It's really infuriating to come across scams like this. However, I have taken measures to prevent any further expenses by setting my phone to automatically block all calls and texts from premium rate numbers.

I've just come across this on our mobile bill. It indicates that there was a phone call lasting 5 seconds, which charged us £1.41. I will inspect the phone to check if we received a call initially and if my wife simply returned the call. Either way, I'm definitely going to block the number.

Surprisingly, a mysterious mobile application called 'directory enquiries' suddenly materialized on my device. I would have preferred to term it as hacking, but the police authorities here seem to believe that I simply need some rest or may be experiencing a mental breakdown. However, I am not too worried as I am a member of the RAC.
