I contacted my network, Vodafone, and after a fair bit of digging, they discovered the scam call was actually coming from another mobile phone, which was quite unexpected. To my surprise, the number isn’t saved on either my wife’s or my contact list! I've contacted TalkTalk to have it blocked, and I'm also signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s clear that someone is cashing in quite handsomely here.
