Just saw this on my BT bill - it’s the second call under half a minute on the same day. The number matches one ITV uses for their morning prize draws, but nobody in my home takes part in those. Still, I’ve been charged for picking up. How do I go about getting this money back? Is this some kind of new scam where companies can make you pay just for answering? Oi, this number belongs to the Good Morning TV show competition, so it’s all above board. If you’ve been rung by it, you might have actually bagged a prize. If not, someone at your place, maybe your missus, is probably ringing them up. I enter these contests now and again but keep it quiet from my partner ’cause he’d nag about spending too much.
