I contacted my service provider about this, and they told me it was linked to a window company, which seems rather dubious. It’s absolutely infuriating! My wife got duped by a fraudulent HMRC website, and we ended up losing £43. How on earth do these phone companies let this sort of thing slide? It’s beyond frustrating!

I've just noticed I've been billed £27.47 along with an extra £1.51. My mobile plan is meant to be just £9 a month, not this shocking £40 or so! It’s HMRC, and I was under the impression that the call wouldn't cost a penny! What a nuisance! 😩

Please do keep me in the loop! If you're facing tax issues, it’s utterly unfair to burden you with exorbitant phone bills. My local council or tax office completely dropped the ball on my taxes, and I was blindsided by the consequences.
