We got a call from 09040129406 but honestly, none of us had a clue who it was. I looked it up in the phone book and found this site saying it's a scam. Just for a short call, we ended up with an £8 extra charge on our phone bill. Proper cheeky if you ask me!

On 24 March 2021, I got a call from 09040129406 and when I picked up, there was just silence on the other end. Later, when I got my phone bill, I noticed a £43.75 fee listed as a ‘service charge’. After checking with my provider, they confirmed a call from that number lasted 24 minutes and that's why I was charged. I swear I never made that call. Just thought I’d give everyone a heads up about this.
