I’ve just spotted that £25 charge on my mobile bill from an unknown number and it’s left me quite baffled. This appeared back in October of last year, and as I was sifting through my old BT statements, I was taken aback by this sudden spike compared to my usual expenses. Sadly, my husband didn’t catch it in time and paid through his direct debit like always. Now, I’m reaching out to BT, but it seems they only speak with the account holder about these matters. I’m truly at a loss about how to prevent something like this from happening again or even figuring out who this number belongs to. Honestly, who in their right mind would ring an 09 premium line?

I've just discovered an unexpected charge of £52.84 for a call to the number mentioned above, and I can assure you, I didn't place that call! Is anyone able to shed some light on this situation? I've reached out to Virgin Media, but they’re not being particularly helpful.
