No clue what that was, but it ended up costing me £3.67 for just half a minute!

I only just spotted a £25 charge on my phone bill from this number and I have absolutely no clue who it belongs to or why I was charged. It happened back in October last year when I was going through old BT bills and saw a spike in costs compared to usual. Sadly, my husband didn’t pick up on it and just carried on paying it through his direct debit. I’ve tried reaching out to BT but they told me they can only discuss the issue with the account holder. No idea how to stop this from happening again or who on earth would dial an 09 premium number in the first place!

I've just discovered an unexpected charge of £52.84 for a call to the number mentioned above, and I can assure you, I didn't place that call! Is anyone able to shed some light on this situation? I've reached out to Virgin Media, but they’re not being particularly helpful.
