5 monthsI got this message in an email that had my full name on it, which was a bit odd. They said they’d tried to reach me before and wanted me to get in touch straight away. I’m pretty good with checking my mail and emails, so I know that can’t be true. I reckon it’s a scam from Romania or somewhere, even though the text was in English it had a choice to translate to English, which is weird. The whole thing felt dodgy, especially the way it ended - really unprofessional. If it is a scam, it’s defo a risky one; most of these scams are.Romania5 monthsI got an email about cancelling a student loan debt and it told me to ring this number straight away or I'd lose the opportunity to claim. Sounds like one of those typical scams that pressure you to hurry up. They did use my first name, but I reckon they just picked that up from the email address. Plus, I don’t have any student loans linked to that email. They also wanted me to click a link at the bottom to ‘unsubscribe’ by entering my email and typing stop, which just felt off.
