I've been getting these dodgy calls non-stop from people claiming to be from business utility companies, warning me that my charges are at an emergency rate and urgent action is needed. It's total rubbish, clearly a scam. Don't get caught up with them, they're just fraudsters trying to pull a fast one.

Got a call from someone called 'Alex' saying he was from National. He wanted to talk to the person who owns the company I work at. When I said I'd get back to him, I noticed the number he gave didn't match. Then I found out a lot of others got tricked or nearly tricked by these lot too.

They say they represent the national utilities but its a total lie. The only number they give you is some expensive 0871 line to ring them on. They also come out with all sorts of rubbish trying to scare you into giving them info, like telling you your electric meter isn't registered and thats why youre being charged an arm and a leg. Complete nonsense if you ask me.

I wouldn't give them the business owners name, and they started getting pushy and kept hassling me. They insisted it would be easier to speak with someone who was in the loop. It was hard to tell if it was legit, especially since we’d only just confirmed our energy provider the day before. For a "new company," it was really stressful not knowing if they were for real or just a scam.

Honestly, I wouldn’t waste your time answering their calls. They keep ringing non stop and say they're some sort of utility company that can help save you cash, but it’s just annoying. Best thing to do is report them to the TPS, they’re proper persistent and it’s pure harassment.

Their prices are sky-high and they lie about offering the cheapest deals around - complete rubbish. They come across as pushy and quite rude; I even faced threats from them. I can't understand how they can be so unpleasant and still carry on. Don't get caught up with their nonsense, they’re awful. Best bet is to deal straight with your electric and gas suppliers.

Greetings! A chap named Andy gave me a bell last month, claiming to represent Commercial Power. He was keen to discuss the return of a new contract. He asked if I could give him a shout back shortly after the weekend. As a florist who's recently relocated my shop, it's hard not to think that these companies are somehow getting their hands on the details of folks who’ve changed their address, possibly through some major telecom outfit. I had a chat with our provider, and it turns out that when these folks manage to acquire your serial number, they attempt to take over your energy supply and nullify your current agreement. I’ve been inundated with calls from this company, bombarding me two or three times a day with claims that my business is no longer under contract with our electricity provider. They insisted they could secure a more favourable rate. However, upon investigating their claims and checking our current pricing, it turned out they were completely mistaken. After a quick chat with my actual supplier, it became clear these folks are just a brokerage trying to swindle us, and we are still very much tied to our existing contract. Honestly, their persistence is utterly maddening, and one must possess a remarkable level of tediousness to shake them off!

Received a call from a chap claiming he's from the Meter Registration department at Commercial Power. He mentioned their website was commercialpower.co.uk, though there also seems to be a similar one at commercial-power.co.uk. We're starting to think this might be just another one of those dodgy power brokerage companies trying to drum up business.
