We received a phone call from this number for a charge of £18, but we weren't even at home!

I was billed £19 for making calls to the number 08715250935. Despite lodging a complaint with Sky Talk, I've yet to see any resolution to the matter. Frustrating, to say the least!

On my April bill from PlusNet, I noticed a charge of £18.74 for a call lasting 182 minutes to the number 08715250935 on the 25th of April, 2013 at 2:11 in the afternoon. The peculiar thing is, I never placed that call. Adding to the mystery, both my phone line and broadband went completely dead on the same day, which I promptly reported to PlusNet later that evening. Interestingly, a BT engineer who came to resolve the issue on the 24th, which was a Sunday, mentioned that the BT junction box had been damaged due to vandalism, causing disruptions to several lines in the area. I can’t help but wonder: could these two events be connected, or is it merely a coincidence? If they are indeed linked, it raises the troubling possibility that someone with knowledge of that junction box was making unauthorised calls to that number, potentially in cahoots with the owner of the 0871 line. Could we be looking at some sort of conspiracy here?

Correction: I’d like to clarify that the BT engineer arrived to sort out the line on Sunday, 28th April, rather than on the 24th as was mentioned earlier. PLUSNET has assured me they’ll investigate this matter.

As a customer of O2, I've just received a bill amounting to £62.50. I reached out to their customer service to dispute a charge for what was apparently a three-hour call to 08715250935, which I’m certain we never made.
