I was in a tough spot and ended up getting tricked by this lot, paying £24.50 but never getting anything in return. I reported it as fraud, and now after four months, I get a letter saying if I don't pay £54, they'll take me to court. I spoke with my bank, and they said not to stress because if it were genuine, the fraud team would've refunded me by now. Honestly, I’m quite anxious about it. These scumbags are just preying on people who are down on their luck - it’s absolutely horrible!

The work’s flexible and done from home with no targets, sales, or commission - just sending emails online. The company called itself The Flexible Working Group, and their email is [email protected]. Ben asked for £49 for a starter package but offered to reduce it to £25. To get started quickly, he wanted my bank details to process the form, promising a refund if I wasn’t happy. When I asked for more details, he gave me an address: 34 New House, 67-68 Hatten Garden, London EC1 N8JY. Then he gave another number for office jobs: 09791300230. When I rang back, a friendly woman explained a quick 'screening' for a 'work from home' admin role with some 'flexible working group' supposedly located in London. She mentioned I could set my own hours and asked if I preferred admin & secretarial, data input, or packing envelopes. Had a call from another number they’re now using. They started off promising a job, but then they asked for my credit card info and money. Absolutely don’t return their call. They didn’t say what company they’re from, just claimed to be from some recruitment team.

We're utterly baffled by this number, as they left us a robotic voicemail. It's just a nuisance of a call, really. We thought it might be something significant, but it turned out to be a right bother.
