I urge you to steer clear of this number at all costs-it's a total con! The caller, whose identity remains a mystery, will try to lure you into shelling out cash for what they dub a starter pack for non-existent home-based jobs. Beware of falling into this trap!

total scam alert! these folks are really dodgy. they try to intimidate you by saying you owe a shipping charge. after my son sold his car, they claimed the money was sent via paypal but he still needed to cover a £700 shipping fee. we contacted paypal, sent them all the emails, and paypal is now investigating to catch these con artists.

Today, I received an odd phone call from some chaps urging me to ring back-something about, well, who knows? They didn’t even bother to give their names, which I find quite rude. Honestly, these sorts of calls are utterly unacceptable. It’s preposterous that they prey on individuals currently hunting for jobs, making such bizarre and unfounded requests. Something really needs to be done about this!

Keeps just ringing and then goes to voicemail, came up as some recruitment agency.

Be aware, this is a complete scam. It seems to be the same company that reached out to me with an enticing offer for a home-based administrative job, promising to pay £10-£15 per hour. However, there's a catch - they expect you to pay around £30 upfront for a so-called 'starter pack'. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way when I desperately needed a job and fell into their trap. Not only did they charge me twice for a starter pack that I never received, but it turned out to be a total scam. I advise you to stay away from this and not fall into their trap as well.

I received a rather peculiar automated call from this number. They didn’t bother to mention their identity, the company they represent, or the reason for their call. The entire message just prompted me to press 1 to confirm receipt, or 2 if I wanted to replay it. Honestly, I found it all a bit dodgy and didn’t even think twice about calling back. I simply deleted the message. The number in question was 0871 475 0356.

I've received this call on two occasions now. Each time I pick up, all I get is a recorded message. So, I did a quick search online and stumbled upon this site as the top result. Definitely seems a bit suspicious, if you ask me.

I got a phone call from 0871 475 0356 about a position in administration. They prompted me to press 1 to indicate I had received their message. However, when I tried to return the call, I was informed that the number was not valid. Seems a bit dodgy, doesn't it? The caller was 0871 475 0356.

Received a rather dodgy call from a similar premium number (0871 475 0150) and it turned out to be a right con. Initially, there was an automated voicemail instructing me to contact the premium line, but it didn’t bother to provide any name or specifics. When I decided to ring back, they launched into some phony 'pre-assessment' spiel, then attempted to draw me in with an 'incredible' chance to work from home for a supposed 'company' that turned out to be as real as a unicorn. They even had the audacity to ask for payment for a starter pack! In my case, they hit me with double the charges, and guess what? The starter pack never materialised. It's all just a massive ruse!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! - caller: 0871 475 0356

Despicable creatures, preying on those unfortunate and unemployed… Truly the worst of the worst. I'm uncertain as to how they acquired my contact details, but I strongly suspect they have somehow hijacked my phone number from my CV on CVlibrary or some other platform.

I had a rather intriguing call come through earlier today, claiming to be regarding an administration role I had applied for. However, it was merely a voicemail left behind. When I attempted to return the call, it just diverted me straight to voicemail again. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I got a similar call today about a role for an Administration Assistant. It felt a bit suspicious, to be honest, as they didn’t bother to mention which ‘recruitment agency’ they were from. I haven’t called them back either. - caller: 08714750356

I can relate, Tony. I've sent my CV out to a multitude of positions, but everything feels a bit off to me.

Beware of an "agency" that is asking for a payment of £25 (£49.99 but with a 50% sign-up discount) to provide you with a starter pack for data entry jobs. They claim that you can earn £10-£15 per hour from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to quickly recoup your initial investment. However, calling them back would incur additional charges, making it a complete waste of money. I advise you not to fall for this scam. It seems they obtained my personal information when I applied for a job with another company, not from their own legitimate sources. If anyone has actually received a starter pack and earned money from this agency, please share your experiences here. Because based on my opinion, it appears to be nothing more than a fraudulent operation.

Last week, I attempted to apply for a data entry job. I visited their website and clicked on the "Apply" button. However, as soon as I did, a message popped up asking if I wanted to register with them. I selected the "NO" option but unfortunately, the job description disappeared and I received a message indicating that the vacancy had been filled or removed from the employer's site. It seems that they must have obtained my contact details from other agencies because now I receive continuous calls from them, ranging from morning until evening. However, I choose not to answer these calls. I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to all the commenters here. Your advice has saved me a significant amount of time.

I received a rather peculiar automated call urging me to ring them back! It's all rather strange, to be honest. The message provided absolutely no clue as to who was on the other end. The number in question is 08714750356. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have been getting phone calls from this number constantly throughout the morning and afternoon while I was at my apartment. Surprisingly, now that I'm outside of the apartment, the calls have suddenly ceased! This is quite concerning, as it appears that they know when I am inside or not. It's definitely a cause for alarm, indeed!

I just got a missed call along with a voice message. It's frustrating because this is the second time I've come across a scam while looking for Data Entry jobs. Yesterday, I received an email from a company named 'Copley Business LTD' claiming to have Data Entry job openings. I responded showing my interest and today, I received another email which was less formal than the previous one. They asked me to fill out an attached application form and send it back. However, I became suspicious when I noticed that the form was asking for sensitive information like my bank details (sort code, account number, and card number). It's strange how Admin and Data Entry roles are often targeted by scammers. Personally, I never share my card information over the phone unless I have gone through proper security checks and I am certain about the person I'm speaking to.

Just got a call from the number 7 - anyone know who that could be?

As I was desperately looking for a job, I decided to follow their procedures. To begin with, I have ordered a starter pack, which is expected to arrive within 5 days. According to their instructions, once the pack arrives, I will have the opportunity to work from home by performing administrative and data entry tasks. Initially, I felt apprehensive about the legitimacy of the opportunity, but I have called a few times and different employees have answered the phone. They also have a website, http://www.tfwg.co.uk/, although it is currently undergoing maintenance. Despite my concerns, I am inclined to wait and see what happens during the week. One thing that struck me is how they plan to pay me without having obtained any of my personal information, such as my bank account number or sort code. So far, they only asked for payment for the starter pack. If anyone has any additional information about this opportunity, please feel free to share.

I recently received a message instructing me to call a certain number and press 1 to confirm that I heard the message. However, I chose not to do either of those things. If someone lacks the courtesy to actually call me and inform me of their identity in the message, then I have no interest in working for them. It seems suspicious to me; I suspect it may be some sort of scam.
