I received a call from 3, the mobile network provider. It was an automated message. However, it’s puzzling that they would be reaching out if you’re not one of their customers. I hope this sheds some light on the matter!

I recently received a call on my O2 mobile from this number. When I picked up, there was no one on the line-just some sort of background tunes playing. Curious, I decided to ring the number back using my landline, only to be met with a recorded message that said, "Welcome to 3". It then apologised and informed me that the number I dialled had been changed, advising me to call 0844 338 0147 for further assistance. I haven’t bothered trying the new number. Just to clarify, I’ve never been a customer of 3, and I find it rather puzzling why I would even receive a call from them in the first place.
