Got an email saying my PayPal password was changed recently. I haven’t used PayPal in ages, so it’s a bit suspicious. The message told me to call 08707307191 if it wasn’t me. Seems like a typical scam to me. Just want to warn everyone to watch out for stuff like this.

I've had a troubling experience with this number-it turned out to be a scam. I had a conversation with someone who, as I later discovered, was operating from Mumbai and masquerading as a representative of PayPal. They attempted to siphon off £107 from my banking account, using a company name I later found out was Citrus. While the whole thing seemed quite believable at first, they quickly raised red flags by requesting the three-digit security code from my card's reverse side. I strongly advise you to block this number without delay; they start racking up premium charges the moment you engage with them. Stay safe, everyone!

They managed to take £500 out of my bank saying they were Paypal. I found out later they’d even paid for a Google ad to make it look like they were Paypal’s customer support! Such a scam!

this contact is linked to a firm called legal services information digest limited, supposedly registered at 67 beechwood avenue, orpington, kent, br6 7ez. but that address is a private home, not an office. i've received several emails from them claiming my paypal password was updated and if it wasn't me, i should ring this number. be warned, the call setup fee is 75p plus £1.50 per minute. it's a scam line aimed at stealing your paypal or banking info. watch out!

I made a purchase using my PayPal account, and shortly after, I received a message on my phone prompting me to press 1 for yes or 2 for no. I opted for 1, and then got another message from the number 08707307191 saying to reach out for help. I've been on hold ever since, eagerly awaiting a response from PayPal.

seems like a dodgy scam to me. i got a text from 08707307191 saying my paypal password was just changed, and if it wasnt me, i should ring back. but the strange thing is, my old password still worked fine when i logged in. so how could they say it had been changed? bit fishy if you ask me.

Utterly dodgy, I’d say! I received an email purporting to be from PayPal, but I had my suspicions it wasn’t the real deal. Turns out, I was absolutely right-it’s a scam! Whatever you do, steer clear of replying to it! Seriously, just don’t engage. If you’re feeling uncertain, there’s no need to stress. Just take a breather and consult the official PayPal website for guidance. And let me stress this: DO NOT call that number they’ve provided; they’re probably trying to trick you into disclosing personal info! Best to just steer clear altogether!

I got a message saying there was an unauthorised transaction on my PayPal, which I sorted out straight away. The alert came from 08707307191, which I then double checked by phoning PayPal’s main line. Turns out that number and the message are genuinely from PayPal, so it’s legit.

I’ve just had a right palaver with a dodgy PayPal scam! They were after my personal details, and before I knew it, my email accounts were compromised and my passwords were all altered. They even managed to infiltrate my eBay account and made some unwanted purchases. I've flagged the matter with PayPal-definitely a load of scammers! Stay sharp, folks!

I received emails from both PayPal and eBay alerting me to a questionable item that had been flagged, and they inquired whether it was me requesting a password change. I have indeed altered my password, but I also reached out to both companies via text and email to clarify that I had nothing to do with it. Fingers crossed I won’t incur any charges. I was provided with the number 08707307191 to call, but since it was nearly midnight, I decided to wait until this morning. However, when I tried, the line was constantly busy. After doing some research and confirming the details with you, I won’t be calling that number again.

Should you happen to receive a call from an unfamiliar number, it’s best to avoid answering it altogether. Save yourself the hassle and simply block the caller to prevent future disturbances. This particular number has been flagged as a scammer. And let’s not forget about those 0300 numbers; the advice remains the same. Stay clear of them and refrain from pressing any buttons, unless you fancy racking up a hefty bill!

I paid for something using PayPal, then shortly after got a text saying the transaction, which strangely had the exact amount and recipient right, was suspicious. They asked me to reply '1' if I approved it or '2' if I didn’t. When I texted back, they sent another message asking for a sum of money with a link that had numbers in it. Pretty obviously a scam! Got annoyed and sent a few rude words back, which then triggered an automatic message with a phone number to contact PayPal on. Like someone else said, I bet that’s a premium rate number!

Got a text with a 6-digit code claiming to be from PayPal, even though I didnt ask for it. Then a minute after, this number called me saying they were PayPal. Curious why I got the code, I phoned back but only got a recorded message saying the call couldnt go through. I ended the call straight away.

Exercise caution, folks. We discovered this was a PayPal customer service number, and my word, do they charge a pretty penny! It turned out to be the priciest call we've made-costing us £1.70 for a mere fifteen minutes of chat. Bravo, PayPal, you've outdone yourself once more with this costly service!

I just had a quick chat with PayPal regarding a refund of £5.14, and it turned out to be a bit of a pricey call at £4.14, all because it took a mere twenty-five seconds for them to acknowledge their mistake. Honestly, next time, I might just consider heading straight to small claims court instead. It only sets you back £30, but at least you can reclaim your expenses if you’re successful!
