At that point, we promptly slammed the phone down. We've got no affiliation with that company whatsoever. What’s the purpose behind these annoying rings? And how on earth are we still receiving them despite being registered with TPS and having signed up just last month to combat these silent nuisances via the number listed on their website? I’ve had the misfortune of receiving text messages from this crowd four times a day! They’re clearly violating several laws, including the Wireless Telegraphy Act of 1949, Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act from 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act of 1997. Finally managed to put an end to their calls! It was blissful to savour the quiet for a while. Then, out of the blue, a robotic voice chimes in, claiming she has a message for ‘whoever’. You simply select the option indicating that the person is unavailable or that the number is incorrect, and voilà - they won't bother you again! Just to clarify, it's not us they were after, mind you, as soon as they rang. Definitely the wrong number!
