I got a call from this number and decided to ring back, only to find out I was charged £9 (£1 a minute) because it’s apparently a “Service Number”. They claimed it was connected to motorcycle lessons and it’s shown on a few websites for cars and bikes. But when I looked through my call history and calendar, this number comes up as a BT engineering contact. I don’t own a bike nor am I interested in any training, plus I definitely wouldn’t have spent 9 minutes on the phone about that! Feels dodgy to me - might be some sort of scam!
