they were one of those firms that put clamps on cars that haven’t paid tax or something like that, really annoying!

This number is supposedly from the UK DVLA, meant for folks wanting info about their vehicles. But honestly, it’s unfair to everyone in the UK. Loads of people get caught out by it and end up with massive bills. Feels like the DVLA doesn’t actually want people ringing them, so maybe they shouldn’t be giving out this phone number at all.
