A couple of months back, some guy called me claiming it was about my delayed flight. Told him I'd not flown in years. He then started swearing like mad, telling me to jump off a bridge and called me a right c#nt. Ended the call right away and blocked him straight away.

Got a call where they used my first name and claimed they knew I had some trouble with flight delays. Definitely just some useless company trying to grab info, so I blocked them straight away.

I got a call where the person wanted to talk to me by my actual name. They claimed to be from the aviation sector and said they knew I had a delayed flight within the past six months (which is a load of nonsense). As soon as I told them that wasn’t true, they just ended the call.

I am fed up with receiving phone calls every week from people claiming that I have been involved in an accident. When I deny their claims and ask for the source of this information, they immediately end the call. Next time, I plan on frustrating them by pretending that their claims are true and providing them with false information. Then, when their solicitor calls me, I will waste five minutes of their time before informing them that if they waste my time, I will waste theirs. I recommend that all of you do the same.

I received a call from a person claiming to be from Flight Delay UK. He had an accent from Liverpool. The caller asked if I had experienced a flight delay within the past 6 years. I informed him that I had already made a claim, and he apologized for the inconvenience. He assured me that he would remove my details from their database. It was nice to interact with someone who wasn't abusive, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I still decided to block his number.

I recently received a phone call from a company claiming to be working on behalf of the UK insurance database. They insisted that I had been involved in an accident within the past two years. This was clearly untrue. I firmly told them that I have never been in an accident and they had no reason to contact me. However, the caller did not take kindly to my questions about the source of my information. She was extremely rude and showed a complete lack of courtesy, despite their constant and persistent calls. I requested that she remove my details from their database as they have been calling me every day for the past fortnight. This seemed to infuriate her even more, and she vehemently denied having contacted me before. It is advisable to block and ignore calls from this company, unless you want to be endlessly bothered by them. To add insult to injury, she abruptly hung up when she didn't receive the response she desired. Well done, you have truly managed to ruin my day!
