A couple of months back, some guy called me claiming it was about my delayed flight. Told him I'd not flown in years. He then started swearing like mad, telling me to jump off a bridge and called me a right c#nt. Ended the call right away and blocked him straight away.

Got a call off some guy from Liverpool asking if I knew why his flight was running late. I wasn’t sure what to tell him, just said I hadn’t a clue about any delays. Bit odd getting a random call like that!

Got a call where they used my first name and claimed they knew I had some trouble with flight delays. Definitely just some useless company trying to grab info, so I blocked them straight away.

I got a call where the person wanted to talk to me by my actual name. They claimed to be from the aviation sector and said they knew I had a delayed flight within the past six months (which is a load of nonsense). As soon as I told them that wasn’t true, they just ended the call.

Today I got a call from these guys, and when I told them I was sorting my own claim, they just hung up on me like it was nothing. Proper rude! I’ve contacted their company to complain and told them to review their customer service because it was awful and to remove me from their records. They called my personal mobile - no idea how they even got that number! They claimed I must’ve responded to a text message, which I definitely didn’t. What a bunch of cheeky ******!

Got a call from this number, and they told me they were from ‘UK Flight Delay’ asking if I’d had any issues with delayed flights. Totally sounded like one of those annoying cold call scams. I’ve just blocked them now.

I'm fed up with them calling me every single week claiming I've had an accident. I keep telling them it's not true and ask where they got that info from, then they just drop the call. Next time, I'm thinking of messing with them by pretending it’s true and giving made-up details. Then when their solicitor calls, I’ll hold him up for a bit before saying, "If you waste my time, I'll waste yours." Honestly, everyone should try this, it might teach them a lesson.

Got a call from this number, some bloke claiming to be from Flight Delay UK, sounded to me like he had a Liverpool accent. I asked if I’d had a flight delay recently - I haven’t in like six years! I told him I already claimed before, and he said sorry and would remove me from their list. At least he wasn’t rude, bit of a surprise really. Anyway, I still blocked the number.

Got a call wanting to chat with my missus, but when I asked who it was they couldn’t really say much. Told them where to go straight away. Proper annoying, just another scam or spam about insurance rubbish.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Direct Assistance UK, asking if I'd been in a car crash. Before answering, I looked them up and saw they’d been fined £80,000 for annoying calls. The woman on the phone actually yawned quite loudly and then just ended the call. I’m gonna report it to Ofcom for sure.

Just had a call from this company claiming they were ringing for the UK insurance database because apparently I’d been in an accident in the last couple of years… total nonsense. I told them I’ve never had any accident and that they had no reason to call me. When I kept asking where they’d got my details from, the woman on the phone got really annoyed. She was quite rude, especially since they’ve been ringing me nonstop for the past two weeks. I asked her to take me off their list, and she got irritated, saying it was the first time she’d managed to reach me! Honestly, my tip is to block these numbers or they’ll just keep bothering you. And to top it all, when she didn’t get the answer she wanted, she just hung up. Great way to spoil my day...
