It's quite unsettling as we’ve never handed over any of our personal details; the entire situation felt rather dodgy. However, after reaching out to Thames Water directly, they confirmed that they indeed recognised the caller and the timing of the call we received. It’s wise to be vigilant with such repeated calls, no doubt about that!

We're being bombarded by Thames Water, with calls ringing in thick and fast - three times in just fifteen seconds! It's all over a minuscule sum that we actually don’t owe, left behind by the previous tenant. We've already dropped them an email asking them to cease this harassment, explaining our situation and the reasons why we're unable to settle this tiny amount. Quite frankly, this isn't the time for such nonsense, as we’re in the midst of pursuing legal action against both the letting agent and the former tenant.

The other evening, we received a call from this number at precisely 10pm!!! Naturally, we chose not to pick up the phone. Surely, if it’s Thames Water, they ought to limit their ringing to normal working hours, not the middle of the night! The fact that the call was routed through India sheds some light on the late hour, but we’re quite baffled about what Thames Water is actually doing over there in India, to be honest.

I've had quite enough of these incessant cold calls, and it seems to be a daily occurrence with others from India. After receiving yet another one, I decided to hang up. I dialled 1471 to trace the number and then took to Google, which guided me here. It appears to be linked to Thames Water. So, I went ahead and sent an email to [email protected] to let them know that if anyone wants to get in touch, they should do so using a proper UK number or at least write to me. I’ve expressed my concerns about the negative impression these callers are leaving on customers.

Received a call prompting us to return the contact urgently, accompanied by an exceedingly lengthy reference number. Curiously, there was no mention of any company name. We opted to investigate and were pleased to find out who it was.

Received a voicemail from that number dated 30th June 2010, insisting it was crucial to return their call and reference number 00630717716. I’m curious as to why we should even bother, considering we've already settled the entire fee of £180.95 in a single transaction on the 2nd of June 2010.

Oh dear, it turns out this was all on the level. We declined to share any personal details with the chap from Delhi, and soon after, we placed a call to Thames Water. It appears that the Direct Debit we thought was in place hadn’t actually been arranged! We’ve got no qualms about India, but honestly, in today’s shaky economic situation, it seems only right for Thames Water to be hiring here in the UK. I received a call today from someone requesting payment for a bill that I've never even seen, supposedly covering a full year up to April 2015. This morning, we received a rather aggressive call from a chap claiming to represent Thames Water, insisting that we settle a bill immediately. I can assure you, we’re completely up to date with our payments, and the final amount isn’t due until October. His persistence was quite irritating, and we ultimately had to tell him where to stick his demands before hanging up. It’s utterly unacceptable for Thames Water to harass customers like this.
