We experienced a similar situation ourselves. Our company name was stated when we picked up the call, only for them to hang up right after. So, if any of you who are making these calls happen upon these remarks, perhaps consider finding something more constructive to do with your time? A proper job wouldn’t go amiss!

A right plonker rang me, dashed over to the phone, and by the time I answered, they'd already hung up! Earlier this week, I had a string of annoyingly persistent calls from some loan company, and I’m not even a registered number. How on earth do these folks manage to get hold of my details? I received a bothersome call from Weatherseal, based in Bradford, Yorkshire, and it turns out they're just harassing folks with their sales pitches. They're linked to Safestyle windows, a company I've had a thoroughly unpleasant experience with in the past regarding new windows. Overall, their service has been quite poor, and I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Quite galling, really, as she had the nerve to ask, "Hello, how's it going?" not once but twice, right after we inquired about her identity. She then launched into a spiel about how I could have double glazing at no expense to me. Honestly, these callers are a complete nuisance!
