Just moments ago, we received a call from this number. An Asian gentleman on the line was after the homeowner, and as per routine, we told him, "My parents aren't in." Next, he asked for our names, and upon giving the details, it felt like she was prying into our business. So, we casually replied, "Not much," and that was the end of that - she promptly hung up. At first, we thought it was just another one of those typical sales or survey calls, but blimey, Tina, we really appreciate the warning!

We’ve had numerous calls from the number mentioned above, claiming to be linked to a local crime investigation and seeking information about our safety measures. To say it was off-putting would be an understatement, especially after they addressed us as ‘madam’ just because we mentioned we’re engaged. I swiftly ended the conversation and won’t be picking up any subsequent calls from that number. Best to avoid all contact, in my opinion.

Received a call this afternoon, and it was a chap who asked for Mrs X, which is my partner’s last name. It was quite clear he didn’t realise I still use my original surname. He claimed to be phoning from Weather Promotions, and insisted that they operate in our area (which he seemed to know surprisingly well!). He went on about whether we were interested in whatever they were offering - a rather tedious spiel, to say the least. We just left the phone resting on the sofa as he rammed on for a good two minutes. Even after we said politely, “Good afternoon, but we’re not interested,” he just kept chatting until we finally hung up.

I received a call from these individuals, and when we spoke later, it became apparent that there was definitely something off about their manner of speaking.

We received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be selling alarm systems. Just a heads-up: this seems more like a spoof than a genuine sales pitch. It felt like he was trying to case our property to decide if it was worth breaking into. He was keen on conducting a “survey” about the space, presumably to figure out the best time to strike, all while posing as a representative from a security company. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call from these folks, and honestly, the way they spoke raised quite a few red flags. Something definitely felt off about the conversation!

For the past few days, I’ve been getting calls from this number, with the caller looking for the current owner of my residence. Earlier today, I patiently explained that I wasn’t in need of any services regarding the property. However, the gentleman on the other end decided to get quite aggressive, hurled a few expletives my way, and abruptly hung up! Quite unprofessional, I must say!

Received a call from an Asian gentleman pitching an alarm system. Just a heads-up: this seemed to be a scam call. It looked like he was casing the joint to gauge when it might be a prime target for a break-in. He claimed to be from a security company but appeared more interested in surveying the property for nefarious purposes. Stay vigilant!

We received a call from these folks earlier, and, predictably, our answering machine cut them off since we weren't familiar with the number. The amusing part? The opening line of our message goes, "If you happen to be a sales rep, please hang up immediately, we're not interested." Well, it seems they took our advice to heart and ended the call rather swiftly!

We received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be Bob the Builder, but it quickly took a turn for the worse. The bloke then launched into a tirade of foul language, hurling all manner of insulting names our way. What a right nuisance!

I received a call from some chap who sounded like he was in his late teens. He was asking for our folks, using their surname and everything. When we let him know that they weren't at home, we kind of hazily mentioned we weren't sure where they were. He pressed us a bit for more details, and it struck us that mum would be back around half past five, while dad… well, not too sure about him.

This number turned out to be a fraudulent attempt, masquerading as if they were affiliated with Barclays Bank.

I'm also being inundated with calls from a double glazing firm claiming I've won a whopping £5,000 worth of windows! Quite the tall tale, isn't it? Seems a bit dubious, if you ask me!

Yesterday evening marked our first encounter with this number. A bloke rang our grandmother, enquiring about potential window replacements, but the moment we picked up the call, she ended it abruptly. It makes one wonder if there's an organisation out there that manages and registers phone numbers. If that’s the case, it should be possible to trace who’s behind this number, though perhaps that’s wishful thinking. Anyway, let’s see when I can dig up some information about these cheeky chaps.

We've got a comprehensive security setup in place, and there's absolutely no way we'd ever consider purchasing anything over the phone from someone we don't know.

This number has called me four times, and I've told them each time that I'm not interested. The last call was quite the experience - the chap was incredibly rude and just hung up on me! To top it off, barely five seconds later, I received another call from a woman who asked for my name! It turns out, they’re pushing something about windows. I'm absolutely fed up with this now!

I’m absolutely fed up with these persistent calls about double glazing! It feels like an absolute con, to be honest. They keep bombarding us with irritating phone calls, and it’s driving me up the wall. I'm seriously considering just changing our number to put an end to this nonsense!

This number rang us this evening. After three misguided attempts to get our name right-despite us not bothering to set them straight-they abruptly hung up, claiming they had the wrong number. We're left none the wiser about what they were after, but it’s fair to say we reckon it wasn’t anything pleasant!

I just received a call from someone asking for Ms Fox. Given that there are three of us with that name under this roof, we asked which one she meant. She insisted on speaking to the homeowner. After informing her he wasn’t around, she wanted to know if we were his daughters, to which we affirmed. Then she inquired about our ages, which we shared. Following that, she mentioned our postcode and asked when we first set up our Facebook accounts. Once we responded that we indeed had an account, she wanted to know our names, claiming it was so she could send a friend request. When we questioned her motives, saying she sounded nice, we found it a bit odd and promptly ended the call.

We received a phone call from someone claiming to be Bob the Builder, and things took a rather unpleasant turn. This individual started hurling all manner of abusive language and resorted to calling us various derogatory names. Quite a shocking experience, I must say!

We received a call from this number claiming that they were offering complimentary alarm systems valued at £2,000. Not long after, we had yet another call from someone linked to them saying that individuals were in our area earlier that day conducting risk assessments on our home. Just a word of caution: THESE folks are likely scouting your property to determine the best opportunity to break in!
