For the third time now, a chap has come knocking on my door, despite being informed numerous occasions that the person he’s seeking doesn’t reside here. Today, an older gentleman in a black Seat Ibiza with the registration YH57YZR claimed he was delivering a package. Naturally, I inquired about his van, and prompted him to show me some identification, which he outright refused. His antics have been caught on my CCTV, where he openly admitted he wasn’t a proper courier and was instead delivering some sort of legal documents. I’ve taken the liberty of reporting this to the police and Crime Stoppers, as well as enlisting my brother-in-law, who happens to be an officer. He’s clearly not what he purports to be and is unlawfully trespassing, having been warned that his company is not welcome here. To top it all off, he left behind a card with one name but sported a jacket bearing a different company’s logo - all while clutching a rather battered parcel!

I’ve been receiving these cards shoved through my letterbox from a company calling themselves APS, purporting to be sorting out delivery or collection issues. It’s rather frustrating, to say the least, as there's no personalisation whatsoever-just my address plastered on the card, and it's painfully clear there has been no attempt to deliver anything. I’ve made a firm decision not to engage with this nonsense. To add fuel to the fire, the phone number listed-0845 652 0004-never seems to be manned, which only adds to my irritation. Three cards received in just five days feels a bit excessive, doesn’t it? I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t bordering on harassment. Is any of this even permissible under the law?

It appears to be the folks at APS, which stands for Associated Process Servers.

I received a couple of those cards through my letterbox, and I must say, the whole experience has been rather frustrating. When I got the first card, I rang the number provided and left my contact details-name and phone number included-but disappointingly, no one bothered to get back to me. Then, just five days later, another card showed up. This one was even more vague; it simply had a tick marking that re-delivery was an option, but instead of the usual name and address, it had just scribbled "please call." Interestingly enough, I was at home during both instances, waiting and hoping for a response. Quite amusing, isn't it?

It seems I've received roughly 16 of these mysterious cards to date. They don’t seem to know when to quit! I’m not expecting any deliveries or correspondence, yet they keep hovering near my doorstep for about ten minutes before slipping a rather suspicious note through the letterbox-void of any name or address, mind you! So, a word of caution: steer clear of responding or even opening the door, folks!

A chappy knocked at my door claiming to deliver a letter, which frankly could have just been posted initially. The first time he came, he simply left a card. This time, he didn’t possess any form of identification, and I noticed he had a phone dangling around his neck, the camera facing me, which felt a bit unsettling. When I pressed him for ID, he just stated he was a courier and drove a tiny silver car. I've since reported his registration and description to the authorities. When he inquired about my identity, I informed him it was no concern of his as I wasn’t the individual he was looking for. After several attempts to get him to show me some ID, he sat in his car for a few moments before driving off. Quite the peculiar situation, if you ask me!

I urge anyone reading this to be extremely cautious! These individuals are nothing but tricksters. Don't allow them into your residence; it's crucial to report them immediately. The more of us who speak up, the better chance we have of catching these rogues. They’re definitely not here to deliver parcels! And for heaven's sake, don't bother calling the number they provide-keep your name and personal details to yourself!

I've been receiving these cards saying that a parcel's been attempted for delivery, but each time they turn up, it’s a no-show. The cards they leave are rather vague; they don’t mention an address or any details apart from a phone number. When I tried ringing them up to ask what’s going on, they insisted they weren't bailiffs, which only adds to the oddness of the situation. Seems rather suspicious to me!
