If you’ve got a smartphone, you should try the Mr Number app. It stops loads of these annoying calls. Also, if I get a call from a number I don’t recognise, I just leave it. Or if it sounds like spam, I pick up but don’t say anything and they usually just hang up.

Someone’s been ringing my mobile, but the phone stops ringing just before I pick up. They ring sharp at 9am every day, then again at 4 and 7 in the evening. It’s best to just ignore it, but it’s really annoying and feels invasive. Feels like there’s no proper way to get them stopped through the authorities.
