My wife got a call on her phone while we were in Greece, and she rarely shares that number with anyone apart from close family. So, it’s odd she ended up footing the bill for a telemarketing call. I just don’t understand why it’s so tricky for authorities to track down who’s behind these calls. I mean, if GCHQ is capable of keeping an eye on phone traffic, you’d think some other agency could use similar tools to find out where these annoying calls start from.

I've been receiving calls from this number at around half four on Saturdays and again at eight in the morning on Sundays. It's becoming quite annoying, so I’ve decided to block it. There's also another number starting with 0121 that’s been bothering me.

Absolutely, I’ve been experiencing the same nuisance as well. It’s always at the most inconvenient times too! I downloaded this app called "Mr Number" onto my phone-totally free, mind you. Entered the offending number, and ... blissful silence! I've had my fair share of annoying calls about everything from PPI claims to so-called accident compensation-both on my mobile and my home phone. I even invested in a BT call-blocking phone, and, surprise, surprise, my phone's been much quieter since! Each time a new bothersome number pops up, I just add it to my blocked list. Those TPS regulations seem to fall on deaf ears with these persistent callers! As someone pointed out, surely the phone companies should take some action to terminate their services. There must be some sort of clause against misuse, surely?
